Kenneth B. Pitcher, CPA
President, Managing Partner
Ken graduated with honors with a major in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Immediately upon graduation, Ken worked in the tax department of a Big 8 accounting firm, Arthur Andersen. After 4 years at Arthur Andersen, Ken continued his tax career as a partner at a local CPA firm. In October 2009, Ken, Mike Enders and Jim Drohan joined together to create the firm, Pitcher, Enders & Drohan, CPAs. Ken has worked with Mr. Enders for nearly 35 years and Mr. Drohan for 25 years.
Ken’s entire career has been concentrated in the area of tax law. Ken has extensive experience in all types of federal, state and local taxation. He has been involved in tax litigation and dispute resolution at the federal, state and local levels. Ken’s practice focuses on helping successful small businesses and high net worth individuals minimize their overall tax burdens through proactive tax planning. His clients include successful small business owners, high net worth professionals, and corporate executives. Ken serves as the President of our firm.
On a personal note, Ken and Becky Pitcher have been married for over 40 years and have three adult children, Kyle, Brian, and Kelly.

Michael D. Enders, CPA
Mike graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati in 1984 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting. He has spent his entire career working as a CPA firm employee and owner, specializing in providing tax services to high net worth individuals and their businesses. He takes an active involvement with tax planning for clients during the year, making sure that there are no surprises when it is time to file his clients' tax returns. Mike is actively involved with advising clients on business transactions, seeking to minimize the overall tax liability of the transaction. Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike has worked with his business partners Ken Pitcher and Jim Drohan since 1987 and 1996, respectively.
Mike and his wife Debi have been married since 1992 and have two daughters. Mike has been the treasurer for various not for profit organizations and he has been actively involved in his church as a teacher in the youth program.

James M. Drohan, CPA
Jim is a Cincinnati native who grew up just over the river in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. He graduated from Newport Central Catholic High School in 1992. He went on to attend Thomas More College and graduated magna cum laude in 1996 with a B.A. in Accountancy. Shortly after graduation, he began working with Ken Pitcher and Mike Enders. Jim excelled as a tax accountant and in April 2008 he was offered a partnership in the firm. Jim works on high net worth clientele including a family office owning more than fifty separate entities. These businesses include many operating, investment, real estate and tax advantaged entities. Jim also works with a group of manufacturing companies who have offices and sales worldwide. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jim and his wife Amanda, a former CPA, married in 2004. Today, Jim’s pride and joy comes from his three children, Camdyn, Taigan and Breckin. When he is not working hard in the office, Jim enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Eric J. Ernst, CPA
Eric graduated cum laude from Miami University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. After graduation, he attended Wright State University where he earned a Master of Accountancy in 2009. Eric joined the firm shortly after graduation in November of 2009.
Eric prepares and reviews federal, state and local tax returns for high net worth individuals, businesses, and trusts. These businesses include manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, medical groups and other successful businesses. Eric also provides internal control services, such as implementing controls over the treasury function.
Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Zachary J. Brauning
Zach joined our firm in 2018 as an intern while he was finishing his last year of studies at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December of 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting. In January of 2019, Zach accepted a full-time position at the firm as a tax consultant and preparer. Zach is continuing to work while also focusing on obtaining additional requirements to acquire his CPA.
At Pitcher, Enders and Drohan, Zach has worked with manufacturing entities, private equity investors, medical practices, and multiple ultra high net worth families. He continues to work on additional clients as his understanding of federal, state, and local taxation grows.

Nick R. Niehaus
Nick was a tax intern at a regional accounting firm in 2020, while he was studying at Xavier University. He graduated from Xavier University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree, majoring in both accounting and finance. He earned the honors of Magna Cum Laude at graduation. Nick began working for the firm in June of 2021 after he accepted a full-time position as a tax consultant and preparer. He is continuing to work while also studying for the CPA exam.
